Our recent door knocking and letter boxing revealed strong support for the MSIC trial, and we are now planning an informal gathering of community.

RVSDS plan to assist our neighbours with information and evidence that we have gathered. The MSIC trial in North Richmond will have a positive impact on our community. Whilst saving the lives of people with injecting drug dependence, it will introduce them rehabilitation services. We believe our streets will recover from the regular incidence of public injecting, our ambulance service will be freed up to focus on others in need, residents will be relieved from being the de-facto first response service for overdoses, and the healing and renewal of our local community can begin.
